Bhagyashree first stepped into the limelight with her debut Maine Pyaar Kiya opposite Salman Khan, starting her journey in Bollywood at just 18. While the film went into post-production for nine months, she married Himalayaji at age 19 and welcomed her first film release at 20.

We would have catfights in school but we couldn鈥檛 do without each other.鈥 But getting married wasn鈥檛 easy. Her father disapproved of the relationship, and she felt compelled to take a stand. 鈥淪o I broke up with him. There is this saying that if you really love someone, set him free and if he really loves you, he will come back. I believed in that,鈥 she added.
On her wedding day, only Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya attended from her side. 鈥淎t our wedding, only Salman Khan and Soorajji鈥檚 family attended from my side. My parents were not talking to me and did not attend.鈥 Bhagyashree said that she later understood why they reacted as they did. She said, 鈥淭hey felt I was too young (to get married) and I don鈥檛 blame them.鈥 Things fell into place after the birth of their son. 鈥淓verything got sorted after my son Abhimanyu was born a year later,鈥 she added.
