A slight bit of bad news for Bangalore Peeps. The government has changed the toll rates on the NICE Road (Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise Road), making it more expensive than ever. The commuters now have to pay higher prices for using the road, starting from today onwards, as reported by the Deccan Herald.
According to the report, the commuters with two-wheelers now have to pay an extra fare of Rs 3, while the four-wheelers owners have to spend an extra Rs 5 on a single journey.

The 8.74 km stretch of Hosur Road to Bannerghatta Road will charge Rs 30 for two-wheelers, Rs 65 for cars, Rs 128 for trucks, and Rs 195 for buses.
For Bannerghatta Road to Kanakapura Road, commuters with cars have to pay a sum of Rs 48, Rs 15 for two-wheelers. Rs 98 for trucks, Rs 155 for buses.
Kanakapura Road to Cloverleaf Junction (4.36 km), cars will be charged at Rs 35, Rs 10 for two-wheelers, Rs 95 for buses, and Rs 60 for trucks.
Cloverleaf Junction to Mysuru Road (3.88 km), four-wheelers have to pay s 33, Rs 10 for two-wheelers, Rs 85 for buses, and Rs 50 for trucks.
For Mysuru Road to Magadi Road, for two-wheelers, it is Rs 30, Rs 205 for buses, Rs 70 for cars, and Rs 140 for trucks,
Charges for Big Wheels
When it comes to the buses and other commercial vehicles, they have to pay an additional charge between Rs 10 to Rs 25, while the amount for the truck will be the highest as compared to all the vehicles for using the route.
BMTC bus Fare
As the BMTC buses usually operate most of the time on multiple NICE Road stretches, especially the route that links Electronics City, Tavarekere, and Banashankari, these increased toll is expected to impact the fare of the tickets, which will eventually put an extra burden on the passengers
