Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar would have been a great president if he had won previous elections.
The presidential spokesman spoke in a yet-to-be-released interview with Chude Jideonwo. However, Bwala expressed doubts about whether Atiku would have been greater than President Tinubu.
Bwala acknowledged Atiku’s potential as a great president, but questioned whether he would have surpassed Tinubu’s achievements.
Bwala stated, “Atiku would have been a great president, but whether he would have been greater than Bola Tinubu, I doubt that.”
Bwala also criticized former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, accusing him of suffering from an “identity crisis” and being an “opportunistic politician” due to his unclear political stance.
Bwala claimed Obi has not defined his identity in politics, leading to accusations of opportunism. He described Obi as an opportunistic politician, suggesting he lacks a clear political ideology or direction.
鈥淭he problem with Mr. Peter Obi is what we call the identity crisis. Peter Obi has not defined his identity in politics, so he finds himself like an opportunistic politician,鈥 he said.
