Each Nightfarer in Elden Ring Nightreign has different scaling. This makes for completely unique characters that can benefit from different playstyles, weapons, and even different sorceries or incantations. In order to get the most from your time during an Expedition, you must know your character’s scaling.
All Nightfarer character scaling
There are currently eight characters in Elden Ring Nightreign and each character scaling is different. While some might share common themes (like Recluse and Revenant being casters of sorts) and even similar stat scaling, they often have a few differences. The following table highlights each character’s attribute and it’s scaling on an S-to-D valuation, where S is the highest.
Most characters have only one type of stat scaling that is reasonably high. However, there are some outliers and even characters that don’t get S-scaling in anything, but this is due to proficiencies in their kit. For instance, Duchess only has A-scaling for Dexterity, however her ability to repeat damage and turn invisible (plus her innate speed), makes her a formidable pick.
Similarly, Recluse has two S-scaling attributes! Intelligence and Faith. In order to mitigate this huge advantage, she has terrible health and an extremely complex kit that takes a lot of work to master. I’d recommend looking over our Recluse Magic Cocktail combos guide for help.
Keep in mind that although you now know the character scaling for Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign, you will still need to apply that knowledge to the armaments you pick up. There’s no point in giving Revenant a Colossal weapon – even though it looks funny. Grab a spectral hawk over to our Elden Ring Nightreign page for more help.
