Al Nassr And Stefano Pioli Part Ways, Italian Set For Fiorentina Return

Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr head coach Stefano Pioli stepped down from his role at the helm of the Riyadh-based club on Wednesday.
Pioli, who previously coached Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Lazio, Bologna and AC Milan among other teams, is expected to return to Italy with La Viola.

鈥淎l Nassr Club Company informs that Mr Pioli and his Staff are no more the acting coaching staff of the first team,鈥 the Saudi side said in a statement.
鈥淲e would like to thank Mr Pioli and his staff for their dedicated work during the past season,鈥 the club added.

The reason for the decision wasn鈥檛 disclosed as the club opted to part way with the Italian after just nine months of working together. The Faris Najd finished the recently conclusded season third in the standings, behind Al Ittihad and Al Hilal, earned qualification to the AFC Champions League next season.
Al Nassr, who haven鈥檛 won the nation鈥檚 top-flight since the year 2019, have parted ways with three managers already since the arrival of Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
