Air India’s Boeing 787-8 crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, killing over 270 people. The AAIB is investigating, recovering black boxes, and initiating data extraction. Air India is observing a ‘Safety Pause’ with reduced services, while Tata Sons announced compensation for victims’ families, and DGCA ordered enhanced safety inspections of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
