Sharjah: Following recent periods of regional operational adjustments, Air Arabia, the Sharjah-headquartered low-cost carrier (LCC) operator, has announced the resumption of its direct flight service between Sharjah and Damascus. The airline announced on Monday that it would resume its double-daily non-stop service between Sharjah International Airport and Damascus International Airport, effective July 10.This resumption of flights to the Syrian capital, according to the airline, underscores Air Arabia鈥檚 continuous dedication to enhancing regional air connectivity. Flights to Syria remained cancelled for over a decade due to the ongoing civil war in the Middle Eastern country. Air Arabia, which operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, itself resumed operations in Damascus earlier this year after over a decade-long hiatus.
