After Shefali Jariwala’s Death, Mallika Sherawat Urges Fans To ‘Say No To Botox’ | Watch

Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat recently shared a no-makeup, no-filter video on Instagram, in which she warned fans against against the use of Botox or fillers. She urged people to stay away from artificial cosmetic procedures, and instead asked them to embrace a natural, healthy lifestyle. Her post comes two days after the death of Kaanta Laga star Shefali Jariwala. The 42-year-old actress breathed her last on Friday night.
In the video, Mallika Sherawat said, “Good morning, you all. I just woke up and thought, I’ll make a selfie video and share it with you all. There’s no filter that I’m using, there’s no makeup that I’ve put on… I haven’t even brushed my hair yet; this is the first thing I’m doing…”She continued, “I am sharing this video with you so that we all together can say no to Botox, no to artificial cosmetic fillers and yes to life, yes to a healthy way of living… Love you.”

In her caption, the ‘Welcome’ actress wrote, “saying NO to Botox & Fillers. Instead of chasing youth wt these artificial procedures, I’m nurturing it from within. Eating clean, hydration, sleeping early & exercises are some of the practices I regularly follow Let’s embrace our natural glow #nobotox #nofillers #authenticbeauty #naturalglow #healthyliving.”
Shefali Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital in Andheri by her husband, Parag Tyagi, where doctors declared her dead. The cause of her death has not yet been officially confirmed. According to Mumbai Police, her autopsy was conducted and the opinion about her cause of death has been “reserved”.
While her postmortem report is yet to be released, it has been learnt that Shefali Jariwala was also self-medicating, and was consuming anti-ageing medicines for some years, sources have confirmed. As the investigations into her death were underway, cops found two boxes of medicines at her Mumbai residence.
They also learnt that on the day of her death, Shefali Jariwala had consumed stale food, and later took her anti-ageing medicines. Doctors at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital, where Shefali Jariwala’s postmortem was conducted, suspect that the actor may have suffered a cardiac arrest due to self-medication.
