Adam Sandler is getting back on the road.
Two years after his sold-out shows for I Missed You, the Sandman is setting off on a 30-city fall arena tour across the U.S and Canada.
The new tour, titled Adam Sandler: You’re My Best Friend, will kick off in Jacksonville, Fla., on Sept. 5 before making stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Cleveland, Ontario, Salt Lake City, Chicago, and more. The stretch concludes in Las Vegas on Nov. 1.
Tickets will be available on Live Nation and various venue pre-sales beginning June 26 at 12 p.m. local time. All pre-sales end June 26 at 10 p.m. local time. The general sale begins June 27 at 12 p.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com.
See the complete itinerary below.
You’re My Best Friend comes a year after the Saturday Night Live alum’s Josh Safdie–directed Netflix comedy special, Adam Sandler: Love You, which was filmed over two days at sold-out concerts in Los Angeles.
But fans will have a chance to see Sandler before he hits the road in the fall, as the actor stars in the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore sequel, premiering on Netflix next month.
The original 1996 sports comedy follows its titular hockey player (Sandler) as he discovers his surprising knack for golf. With his powerful swing, Happy reluctantly joins the pro circuit to save his grandmother’s house, shaking up the stuffy tournaments with his boozy antics and unfiltered attitude.
While at the time critics weren’t all-in on the original — Entertainment Weekly likened watching it to “having your funny bone whacked repeatedly by a two-by-four” — the comedy has since earned a cult following. Set 30 years after Happy’s legendary win, Happy Gilmore 2 finds the foul-mouthed underdog dusting off his clubs and coming out of retirement for another round, this time to raise money to cover his daughter’s elite ballet school tuition. It’s $75,000 a year, or $300,000 over four years… no pressure, right?
Happy Gilmore 2 hits Netflix on July 25. You’re My Best Friends kicks off Sept. 5. See the full list of dates below, and buy tickets here.
