The Aare Egbe-Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Mogaji Abos茅 Compound, Oke Gege, Ibadan, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (FCA) has extended his heartfelt birthday wishes to the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I), on the occasion of his 90th birthday celebration today, July 5, 2025.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Olooye Adegoke who also doubles as the chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM described the monarch as a father to all, a beacon of wisdom, and a custodian of Ibadan鈥檚 rich traditional heritage.
鈥淥n this momentous occasion of the 90th birthday of our highly revered royal father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, I join the good people of Ibadanland and the entire Yoruba nation in celebrating a life devoted to leadership, honour, and service to humanity,鈥 Olooye Adegoke stated.
He lauded Olubadan鈥檚 deep commitment to the growth and unity of Ibadanland, emphasizing that Oba Olakulehin鈥檚 wisdom and peaceful disposition continue to command respect from within and beyond Oyo State.
鈥淥ba Olakulehin鈥檚 enduring contributions to the peace and progress of our land cannot be overemphasized. His reign, though recent, carries the weight of a lifetime of dedication to community, culture, and character. May the Almighty continue to bless him with sound health and many more impactful years on the throne,鈥 Adegoke added.
The Olubadan, known for his humility, wisdom, and steadfast love for Ibadanland, is expected to celebrate the milestone in the midst of family, high-ranking chiefs, well-wishers, and dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond.
Olooye Adegoke also used the opportunity to call on all sons and daughters of Ibadanland to rally behind the Olubadan, supporting him with prayers and unity of purpose in ensuring the continuous advancement of the city.
