The toy bar at the top completes the Moses basket look, while allowing somewhere to dangle distracting objects. The sides and the mattress are breathable, the design is gender-neutral, and it costs €179, or €188.99 including a pair of fitted sheets, from babyelegance.com.
This cheery Russian-style painted chopping board is almost too pretty to use. There’s a hole in the handle so you can hang it on the wall. It costs €13.99 from TK Maxx (store details at tkmaxx.ie).
This stoneware vase has the slightly wonky look of handmade pottery. It’s 29cm high and looks great with flowers (€82 from aprilandthebear.com).
