Texas flood horror: Trump planning to re-hire fired meteorologists after devastating tragedy kills 82?

APTrump has stated he will 鈥減robably鈥 visit the scene of the deadly Texas flash flood disaster this Friday.

As many as 82 people have been killed and dozens are still missing after devastating floods hit central Texas. Rescuers are still searching for at least 41 missing people, according to state and local officials, reports CNN. The death toll in the Texas floods is expected to rise as more storms are expected in the next 24-48 hours in the region.US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters in New Jersey on Sunday after flash floods wreaked havoc in central Texas. He was hearing reporters just fine until one of them asked him about federal cuts in the aftermath of the devastating floods in Texas.鈥淒emocrats are blaming your federal cuts for the deaths over in Texas,鈥 one reporter, who could be heard audibly projecting their voice, asked Trump. That was not our setup. But I wouldn鈥檛 blame Biden for it either; I would just say this is a hundred-year catastrophe, and it鈥檚 just so horrible to watch.鈥漈rump also appeared unsure when asked whether the federal government should hire back any of the meteorologists who were gutted in the administration鈥檚 slash-and-burn approach to downsizing by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). I guess they said once in a 100 years they鈥檝e never seen anything like this.鈥滺e continued, 鈥淪o, I wouldn鈥檛, uh, I mean people are trying to blame the school they鈥檙e trying to blame the camp. I would just say, this is a (one in a) hundred year catastrophe and it鈥檚 just so horrible to watch.鈥滿eanwhile, new rain has already started to swell waterways in Kerr County, the sheriff warned. Gov.
