Seplat Energy Trains 50 Journalists On Media Entrepreneurship

LAGOS 鈥 Seplat Energy Plc, a Nigerian independent energy company, has trained 50 journalists cov-ering the Capital Market, Judi-ciary, Finance and Business on Media Entrepreneurship.

The training was organised by the Company in conjunction with ELOH Consulting Limit-ed.

It brought together 50 jour-nalists covering Capital Market, Judiciary, Finance and Busi-ness across print, online and electronic media platforms.

The programme equipped participants with essential business acumen and skills to thrive as entrepreneurs and fu-ture business leaders.

It helped participants deep-en their understanding of strategic business principles, enhanced their management and leadership capabilities, and empowered them to build sus-tainable businesses that deliver impactful results.

The Manager, Corporate Communications, Seplat En-ergy Plc, Mr. Stanley Opara, who represented the Director, External Affairs & Social Per-formance, Seplat Energy, Mrs. Chioma Afe, said, apart from developing participants鈥 lead-ership and management capa-bilities, enabling them to cre-ate sustainable businesses and take on greater responsibilities in the evolving business land-scape, the initiative also aims to nurture a new generation of media professionals who can drive enterprises and achieve significant business results.

According to him, the pro-gramme fostered interaction between journalists and key anti-corruption and security agency stakeholders to broaden understanding of governance and operational frameworks.
