Rashmika Mandanna has been in the industry for a while now. She has mesmerised us time and again with her acting skills. Not just in the Telugu industry, she has become a household name in Bollywood too. Rashmika has worked in projects like Chhaava and Animal, and has earned love and appreciation from fans and critics. Recently, in an interview, the actress spoke about the other side of stardom. Rashmika Mandanna on stardom In a conversation with Nod Mag, Rashmika said, “I cry for my off days. I have a sister who is 16 years younger than me; she’s about 13 now. And in the last eight years, since I started working, I haven’t seen her grow up. She’s almost my height now, and I couldn’t even see this journey.” She added, “I haven’t gone home in one and a half years. I don’t get to see my friends. Earlier, they would at least include you in the plans. Now they don’t even do that. And that’s the sad reality.” “My mum always said, ‘If you want to excel in your professional life, you will have to sacrifice your personal life, and if you want a personal life, you will have to sacrifice your work life.’ But I’m someone who will say I will work twice as hard, but I’ll make both of them work. That’s an everyday battle,” added Rashmika. On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in Kuberaa alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna. Next, she has The Girlfriend. She will also be seen in Thama opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Recently, she announced another project, Mysaa, and dropped the intense first look. “I always try to give you something new… something different… something exciting… And this… This is one of those. A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into… and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now. It’s fierce… it’s intense… and it’s extremely raw. I am so nervous and super excited, I genuinely cannot wait for you to see what we’re going to be creating. This is just the beginning,” wrote Rashmika after dropping the look.
