Panchayat’s fourth season has made headlines for a variety of reasons. This season has also piqued everyone’s interest on how the love story between Sachiv Ji played by Jitendra Kumar and Pradhan Ji’s daughter Rinki, played by Sanvikaa progressed. Now, much to the delight of Sachiv Ji-Rinki fans, Sanvikaa reshared a picture with Jitendra Kumar on her social media.
Both Jitendra and Sanvikaa were seen casually posing with each other. They were seen in quirky shirts and denims as they faced the camera together. Sanvikaa received her big break with Panchayat. Although the actress received little screen time in the first two seasons, her romantic relationship with Sachiv Ji blossomed in the third season and has since become a topic of discussion. Sanvikaa has appeared in several OTT series, including Panchayat, Lakhan Leela Bhargava and Hajamat.
Saanvika recently disclosed that she turned down a kissing scene with Jitendra Kumar (Sachivji) in the fourth episode of the series. The script was revised at her request, and the scene was omitted. During a conversation with Just Too Filmy, Saanvika revealed, “In the beginning, no one said anything when the narration was done. But then director Akshat [Vijaywargiya] talked to me. He said that in this season we have inserted a scene where Sachiv ji and Rinki will kiss. Earlier the scene was different. Both of them are in the car, she falls down and then they kiss.”
Keeping the family audience in mind, Sanvikaa decided against it. “I was worried about how he would react, and I was also not comfortable. So I refused at that time. But when we were shooting, they removed that scene, but they inserted the tank scene,” Sanvikaa said.
Panchayat 4 picks up in Phulera as two strong-willed women, Manju Devi and Kranti Devi, compete in the municipal elections. What follows is a chaotic campaign led primarily by their spouses, Brij Bhushan (Pradhan ji) and Banrakas. The election is the season’s main storyline, complete with trickery, taunts and an all-out village spectacle.
