Karan Veer Mehra’s sister turned a year older on Friday. To make her day special, the Bigg Boss 18 winner shared a heartfelt wish. Karan wrote a touching note attached to a string of pictures and videos on Instagram. In the elaborated note, Karan also recounted the day when his sister, a crew member with Jet at that time, got him upgraded to business class by personally requesting the Captain. Fun Fact: She got married to the Captain later.
The note begins with, “Time to talk about my second darling — the story is called “Meri Pyaari Behna, jisse humne mandir se uthaya tha” (My dear sister, who we picked up from the temple).” According to Karan, his sister might “kill him” for posting the pictures from their family moments, given she he is a private person. Despite the “risk,” Karan decided to post the heartwarming snaps anyway. Well, we are glad.

Moving ahead, Karan Veer Mehta showered compliments on his sister, humorously calling it all “fake.” He wrote, “She’s not just my sister — she’s also my elder brother, my dad… honestly, she’s everything. She has solved more than half the problems in my life — personal and professional — and she has sacrificed so much of her own life just so I could live mine to the fullest.”
“When I moved to Mumbai, leaving behind an all-girls household, she stepped up and became the elder brother — not only holding the family together but also managing our small family business,” added Karan.
And then came a sweet revelation as Karan recalled travelling on the flight where his sister was a crew member. In a funny anecdote, he shared, “She got me upgraded to business class by personally requesting the captain. In return, the captain asked her to marry him!”
Karan Veer Mehra also informed that his sister is now blessed with two beautiful boys — Avi and Adi.
Meanwhile, Karan Veer Mehra is set to play an antagonist in the upcoming film Silaa. Directed by filmmaker Omung Kumar, the film also stars Harshvardhan Rane, The Diplomat fame Sadia Khateeb and actor-singer Ipsitaa, who marks her acting debut with the project.
