Woman with 'world's biggest lips' in 'excruciating' pain after breaking tooth

Andrea Ivanova has been on a relentless quest for the “world’s biggest lips”, frequently topping them up with filler to reach her dream. Yet, her journey towards achieving a mega pout has come at a hefty price.

Besides forking out more than €23,000 on her fuller lips, the 28 year old has also encountered adverse health effects. Despite professionals’ warnings that her monthly lip treatments could be fatal, she continues unabated; and now, some medics have even declined to offer her further services.

The lip-ambitious lass recently bit into a hazelnut chocolate bar only to crack a tooth, resulting in “excruciating” agony. She disclosed: “It’s made me feel terrible. Both dentists didn’t give a specific explanation.

“They just said they didn’t want to work on my tooth given that I have such big lips. It’s clear they feel disgust and notes of mockery towards me.”

Disheartened, Andrea, an assistant nurse who suffered the dental mishap a month ago, has expressed “extreme disappointment” with the perceived lack of professional conduct, reports the Mirror.

She lamented: “I don’t know how they can refuse [me] just because of my huge lips. I find their behaviour toward me extremely disrespectful.

“I have to look for a new dentist that will treat me and hopefully I won’t have to go abroad.”

With a trip to Venice looming in just two weeks, Andrea is anxious about finding someone to repair her broken tooth, especially after two local dentists in Sofia, Bulgaria, reportedly turned her away.

Andrea recounted a troubling experience with dental professionals: “When I warned them over the phone after making the appointment that I had bigger lips, they said there was no problem. But on the day, he and the assistant nurse looked at me strangely.”

Continuing her story, Andrea related: “He told me: ‘I’m sorry, but I can’t treat your tooth. Your lips are too big and it will interfere with my work.'”

She expressed her frustration, saying: “He hadn’t even tried to help. I just got up and left – if I stayed, there would have been some unpleasant remarks.”

Reflecting on another attempt, she said: “The second dentist flat out told me: ‘You have huge lips and I can’t guarantee your safety or accept you in this form.’ They’re not professionals [if you ask me].”

Struggling to find a dentist due to her extensive lip fillers has left Andrea exasperated with what she deems sheer “stupidity.”

although some people suggest she’s at fault for going to extremes with her fillers.

Despite resistance from her family, who have pleaded with her in the past to avoid plastic surgery, Andrea remains unfazed by their worries: “I’m an adult, I decide what to do with my body. My friends have no qualms about going out with me, despite my huge lips, and they accept me for who I am.”

Addressing her social circle’s reaction, Andrea noted: “They are used to looking at me now with big lips, so are no longer impressed by it all.”

However, she acknowledged the differences in perception from her elders: “But my parents and grandparents constantly tell me my lips are huge and that I look scary to them. I don’t pay attention to their words.”
