The English audience of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy did a fun vote for the best-dressed commentator in the series, and two Indians, Ravi Shastri and Dinesh Karthik, topped the charts.
In a video posted by the broadcaster, Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain revealed the rankings. His long-time punditry twin, Michael Atherton, came last because of his 鈥榮cruffy鈥 white shirt without iron, followed by Ian Ward. Hussain got tanked third from the bottom, followed by Mark Butcher.
The newest addition in the box, Stuart Brod, received a respectful fourth for his double-breasted suit. Kumar Sangakkara finished on the podium alongside fellow Asians, Karthik and Shastri.

鈥淭he viewers have had their say about the commentators鈥 dress code and who鈥檚 winning and who鈥檚 losing. Right at the bottom by some distance 鈥 Michael 鈥楽cruffy鈥 Atherton. One shirt, no iron. About as scruffy as they get. Second from bottom and only second because Atherton is on the team 鈥 Ian Ward. Scruffy as they can get,鈥 Hussain said.
鈥淭hird from bottom, mid-table mediocrity, needs to take a bit more risk, Nasser Hussain, looking in admiration in Stuart Broad鈥檚 direction. Then Mark Butcher was higher up the list, but because of some new additions to this side, he slipped down. Then we have double-breasted Broad. Look at the look there! Michael Atherton doesn鈥檛 like that look. He does like Kumar Sangakkara in a double-breasted. He pulls it off much better,鈥 he added.
Karthik and Shastri鈥檚 cream and white jackets, respectively, earned them the top two.
鈥淭hen we鈥檙e into the top 2,鈥 Hussain added. 鈥淒inesh Kartik holds the pose. DK, look at that! He鈥檚 only second because of the stripy shirt, which really doesn鈥檛 work with that suit. And then the king, the Don, the main man, Ravi Shastri. Not many can pull off the white jacket. Ravi Shastri is #1 on the list. Well played Rav.鈥
The list was revealed on the sidelines of the second Test between India and England at Edgbaston, Birmingham. India ended the third day on top, having bowled the hosts out for 407 in defense of their first-innings score of 587, before hitting 64/1. They lead by 244 runs.
