The Traitors has become one of the most talked-about reality shows in India. Set in the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, the show has made headlines for its fights and how openly the contestants behaved on camera. One of the contestants, social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, has now indirectly reacted to actor Sudhanshu Pandey’s recent comments about her behaviour on the show. In a recent interview, she took a dig at Sudhanshu’s performance on the show.
“Sudhanshu ji ne kuch bhi nahi kara hai show mein. Unhone jitni is show mein baat nahi ki hai usse jyada toh bahar aakar baat krdi hai (Sudhanshu ji didn’t do anything on the show. He’s spoken more outside the show than he did on the show itself),” she said in an interview with Filmigyan.

Sudhanshu earlier shared his thoughts in a conversation on Zoom. He spoke about Apoorva’s choice of words on the show and how that might reflect on her personality.
“Apoorva is a very good kid, she has got a kind heart, but these kids don’t understand ki agar aapki zubaan kharab hai toh aapki saari acchaiyaan saari doob jaati hai (If your language is bad, all your goodness gets overshadowed),” he said.
He also commented on how some contestants behaved differently on camera and behind people’s backs. “This is the new generation, and they are a big loss because there is no sense of a concept of culture that you belong to,” he added.
Sudhanshu also reacted to a leaked chat that allegedly took place between Apoorva and co-contestant Uorfi Javed. In the chat, Apoorva is seen congratulating Uorfi and saying, “Tune toh show jeeta hai (you have won the show).” On this, Sudhanshu said, “I have no idea, but in case there is some chat like this where they might be saying things that can be detrimental for their viewership, then it is wrong.”
Apoorva also shared her opinion about fellow contestant Jasmin Bhasin. She said, “Dumb toh honestly Jasmin khel rahi thi. Wo khud bhi bolti rahi ki mein dumb hu but unhe kuch bhi samajhana was just impossible (Honestly, Jasmin was playing dumb. She even admitted she was dumb, but explaining anything to her was impossible).”
She added, “9th episode mein toh mai thak gayi thi… log apna dimaag laga hi nahi rahe the, wo bas bhed chaal mein game khele ja rhe the aur wo tukke se end tak poch gaye, which is also a great strategy (By the 9th episode, I was exhausted… people were not using their brains, they were just blindly following others and somehow reached the end by guessing, which is also a great strategy).”
Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther have been announced as the winners of The Traitors.
