Pooja Bhatt is all set to step into a new role鈥攁s a podcast host. Titled The Pooja Bhatt Show, the weekly podcast will launch in late September under a new joint venture between iHeartMedia and Mammoth Media Asia. This will be their first collaboration to create multilingual podcasts that spotlight Asian talent.
The show will be produced by Epilogue and distributed by iHeartPodcasts. It will be available on all major podcast platforms and the iHeartRadio app.
Bhatt, who made her acting debut at age 17 in the 1989 film Daddy, directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt, has remained a strong and independent voice in the Indian film industry for more than 30 years. Known for her bold roles and fearlessness in discussing difficult topics, she brings authenticity and deep insight to the new podcast.
In her announcement, Pooja Bhatt wrote an emotional note reflecting on her journey. She spoke about Filmistan Studios, where she first faced the camera. The studio is now being sold and will soon be replaced by luxury apartments. She called this moment 鈥渢he end of an era鈥 and linked it with the 鈥渘ew beginning鈥 the podcast offers her. 鈥淒eath and life in the same frame,鈥 she wrote.

The Pooja Bhatt Show promises honest and inspiring conversations. It will feature voices that shaped her鈥攆rom filmmakers and actors to spot boys and background dancers. Bhatt aims to tell stories of joy, heartbreak, failure, and success. The show will also explore the influence of Indian cinema on fashion, music, and global culture.
