SDF Bird Proofing Products has been set up as a sister company to the established SDF Bird Proofing Services, which provides professional bird deterrent installations for domestic and commercial properties.
The services arm of the business undertakes specialist work to prevent birds from nesting and works directly with clients as well as subcontracting for larger firms.
With demand growing and a clear gap in the local market, SDF saw an opportunity to expand – putting a focus on manufacturing high-quality metal supports for bird netting systems.
The new company, SDF Bird Proofing Products, has now launched a dedicated retail space in Delph Road, with members of the public invited to an open day this Saturday (July 5) to check out the new shop and its full range of bird proofing products, and see how the custom metalwork is made.
Company director Stefon Farwell said the business can help anyone having problems with birds ranging from pigeon droppings to seagull nests on roofs.
He said: 鈥淚’ve been bird proofing for about 20 years, working all over the UK.
“There isn鈥檛 anywhere else in the Midlands area doing this, so we took the opportunity to do it.鈥
SDF Bird Proofing Products is located at unit 11 on the Delph Industrial Estate, Delph Road, Brierley Hill, and it will be open every Saturday to begin with from 8am until 1pm and for click and collect items ordered online from https://sdfbirdproofingproducts.co.uk/
The open day tomorrow runs from 9am to 4pm and is for anyone trying to tackle bird pest problems.
