The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to rebound from a season that went miserably. It went so poorly because the team was ruined by injuries. Philadelphia’s three best players, Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey, struggled to stay on the court. Embiid played in 19 games, George played in 41, and Maxey suited up for 52 games.
One of the positives from a terrible season for the Sixers was that it allowed them to draft VJ Edgecombe at No. 3 overall. The Philadelphia 76ers have a talented roster, but their key players must remain healthy for the team to reach its full potential. If the Sixers can have a season full of health, they can make some noise in a wide-open Eastern Conference.
Final Thoughts
Walker is a solid signing for the Sixers. He will provide an injury-prone team with some much-needed depth. He will also look to blossom into the best player he can be on a team with championship aspirations.
