A WOMAN IN her 70s has died following a collision between a car and a truck this morning in Co Meath.
The collision occurred near Drogheda at Platin Terrace shortly after 10.30am.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has since been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady鈥檚 Hospital in Navan.

No other injuries have been reported.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Garda铆 are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera or dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 10am and 11am this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating Garda铆.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station at 01 801 0600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
