In the first half of 2025, Skoda Auto India achieved sales of 36,194 units, marking the highest half-yearly sales in the brand’s 25-year history in India. This surpasses the previous record set in 2022, when 28,899 units were sold. Compared to the same period last year, Skoda’s sales in H1 2025 represent a significant growth of 134%. Furthermore, this performance has propelled Skoda to the 7th position among the best-selling car manufacturers in India, up from 11th place in 2024. Skoda reports that the Kylaq has helped the brand capture a larger share of the market in Tier 1 cities. Additionally, this sub-4-meter SUV has facilitated Skoda’s expansion into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Alongside the Kylaq, the Kushaq and Kodiaq have also played key roles in boosting the brand’s sales volume. Besides these three SUVs, Skoda continues to offer the Slavia sedan in India.
