Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of the most-talked-about films currently, especially after the first glimpse of the film was revealed earlier today. The upcoming mythological drama features an ensemble star cast – including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman and Sunny Deol in the role of Hanuman. As the first glimpse of Ramayana is out now, fans can’t stop raving about the upcoming film and it is garnering positive reactions all over the internet. Ravie Dubey’s wife Sargun Mehta has also penned an emotional note for her husband. In the clip, Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey are seen sharing a warm hug. Other viral videos show Nitesh Tiwari giving an emotional speech and thanking the whole team. Ranbir and Ravie has have also given speech. About Ramayana BudgetIt was previously reported that the film is being made on a budget of Rs 835 crore, making it the most expensive Indian film ever, per Bollywood Hungama. The previous record was held by the mythological epic Adipurush, which had a total budget of around Rs 500 crore. However, Adipurush struggled at the box office and faced heavy criticism for its VFX. The film starred Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. Ramayana will be released in two parts, with the first scheduled to hit theatres on Diwali 2026 and the second part planned for Diwali 2027.
