Vijay Sethupathi Hugs Son Surya At Premiere Of Debut Film Phoenix, Video Goes Viral

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the ace actors. Recently, he encountered an emotional moment at the premiere of his son Surya鈥檚 film Phoenix. A video capturing the proud father embracing his son at the red carpet event has gone viral on social media. The film is releasing on July 4.
A fan shared the video on his X handle. It shows Vijay shaking hands and hugging his son. He looks very happy as his son is taking big step. Phoenix is touted to be a mass-action entertainer and is backed by Rajalakshmi Arasakumar under the banner Brave Man Pictures.

Earlier, at the Phoenix audio launch, Vijay Sethupathi shared an emotional moment watching his son Surya step into the limelight with his debut film. Vijay Sethupathi said, 鈥淚t felt just like the day I dropped him off at school for the first time.鈥 Vijay reflected on the pride and nervousness that came with the moment. He thanked Anl Arasu master, for spotting Surya during the Jawaan shoot and believing he could lead an action film.
Vijay Sethupathi also thanked Deva Dharshini for calling Surya her own son and added, 鈥淗e鈥檚 very adaptable and self-aware. He reflects on his mistakes and learns from them, and that鈥檚 what makes me proud.鈥
Set for a release in theatres on July 4, fans are super excited for the much-anticipated film, Phoenix鈥檚 narrative, as well as Surya Sethupathi鈥檚 performance in it. When the makers released a solo picture of him giving a sneak peek into his role in the sports drama, the enthusiasm amongst movie buffs had no bounds.
Meanwhile, Surya had confessed that he can get very nervous in front of the camera and gets serious while speaking. But he does not want to talk seriously as he believes he is a funny person. Talking of the fear of trolling online, he said that all the superstars also get trolled, so it is only 鈥渘atural鈥 that he will get trolled as well.
