The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the updated syllabus for Classes 1 to 12 for the 2025-26 academic year. The syllabus was made available on July 3, and students, parents, and teachers can now download it from the official website — pseb.ac.in.
The board has shared the syllabi in both grouped and individual formats. The syllabi for Classes 1 to 4 and Classes 6 and 7 have been released as combined documents, while the syllabus for Classes 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 is available separately for each class. Along with the syllabus, the board has also shared the exam pattern or scheme of studies for every class.
The newly released curriculum includes updated subject matter, marking schemes, and guidelines for practical exams, giving students a clearer idea of what to expect in the new session.
How To Download PSEB Class-Wise Syllabus For 2025-26
Follow these steps to access and download the syllabus:
Step 1: Visit the official PSEB website at pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Syllabus’ link on the homepage.
Step 3: On the new page, select the ‘Syllabus 2025-26’ option.
Step 4: Choose your class and subject to view the syllabus.
Step 5: The syllabus will open as a PDF file, download or print it for future use.

In addition to the syllabus, PSEB has released supporting materials for English practicals, which include audio files, instructions, and worksheets. These resources are meant to improve students’ listening and communication skills in English.

New School Timings For 2025-26 Session
Earlier this year, the Punjab government announced revised school timings for the new academic session. From April 1, all government, semi-government, and aided schools under the Punjab board began operating between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Students and teachers are advised to check the official website regularly for updates and additional resources throughout the academic year.
