The majority of people know Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani the sons of the now late Dhirubhai Ambani who founded Reliance Industries but not much is known of their two sisters Deepti Salgaocar and Nina Kothari. Both have seemed to prefer to stay out of the public eye and the media spotlight.

Deepti Salgaocar is the youngest of the Ambani siblings. According to the media reports Deepti was born on January 23 1962. She is the wife of Goa businessman Dattaraj Salgaocar. Deepti prefers not to be in the public eye; therefore there is limited information available to the public about her.
According to media reports her estimated net worth is reportedly $1 billion. Her husband Dattaraj Salgaocar is a notable businessman in Goa and the owner and Managing Director of VM Salgaocar Group of Companies.
Dattaraj V. Salgaocar and his ventures
Dattaraj V. Salgaocar who has a keen interest in sports and the arts worked with organizations such as the BCCI Goa Cricket Association (GCA) and FC Goa. He also established the Salgaocar Cricket Club to promote cricket in Goa. In 2009 Dattaraj and his wife Deepti Salgaocar launched the Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts a not-for-profit process-oriented arts foundation. The goals of Sunaparanta were to preserve the artistry and culture of Goa facilitate fresh and innovative work in the visual arts connect local artists with the national and global community and provide mentorship and resources for budding artists and art students.
Deepti Salgaocars family background
For the unversed Dattaraj is the owner of the famous Goan club Salgaocar FC. He established the Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts to sustain and promote Goan culture. Deepti is the Vice-Chairperson and an advisory board member there.
Ishita Salgaocar daughter of Deepti and Dattaraj Salgaocar is also an entrepreneur and businesswoman with numerous business ventures. She works as Vice President of Corporate Development at Salgaocar Corporation Private Limited having graduated from Harvard Business School.
In addition to his true passion for cricket Dattaraj Salgaocar also capitalized on his passion for football. He became a co-owner of one of the Indian Super League (ISL) teams FC Goa with cricketer Virat Kohli Videocons Venugopal Dhoot and Shrinivas Dempo of the Dempo Group as reported by The Times of India. In 2016 Salgaocar left the ownership structure of FC Goa and removed himself from the franchise.
