On June 27, the entertainment industry was struck by tragedy when Shefali Jariwala passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest. She was immediately taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Clinic by her husband but was declared dead upon arrival. As fans and loved ones continued to mourn her untimely demise, an old video of her has resurfaced online. It shows Shefali as the new bride when she first arrived in Gwalior with her former husband, Harmeet Singh.
The clip was a compilation of never-before-seen pictures of Shefali Jariwala from her previous marriage with Harmeet Singh. Dressed in a purple-hued kurta paired with jeans, the Bigg Boss 13 contestant covered her head with a dupatta and even wore a maroon chooda like a new bride. One of the snaps saw her beaming with joy as her mother-in-law welcomed her to a new house, performing rituals. A photo also showed her sitting inside a car alongside Harmeet. There is also a photo of the couple posing arm-in-arm with bouquets in their hands.

Fans were quick to react to the viral pictures, slamming the page for digging into Shefali鈥檚 past. One of the Instagram users wrote, 鈥淗ave some respect鈥hat is the use of posting this video? They were divorced and she was happy married the her 2nd husband鈥hame on you.鈥 Another echoed the sentiment, commenting, 鈥淭his is not needed. She was married to Parag n that鈥檚 it. Why the hell r u digging into someone鈥檚 past? Both happily moved on. Pls respect others.鈥
Alongside the criticism, netizens also heaped praise on Parag Tyagi, her second husband. Calling him the 鈥渂est鈥, a person wrote, 鈥淧arag was her best choice.鈥 鈥淧arag is much better than this,鈥 added another.
Shefali Jariwala鈥檚 marriage to Harmeet Singh did not last long. The former couple tied the knot in the year 2004 and parted ways in 2008. Earlier in a chat with Times Now in 2021, Shefali opened up about her turbulent marriage with Harmeet. She said, 鈥淚t is very important to understand that you are not being appreciated. Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens, and you are very unhappy in your life.鈥
Post her divorce, Shefali got married to Parag Tyagi in 2014.
