The internet has been abuzz with the latest explosive revelation about an Indian techie who has allegedly been employed at multiple companies at the same time. Earlier this week, Mixpanel co-founder Suhail Doshi accused Soham Parekh of moonlighting, alleging that he has been working at various startups and scamming them. 鈥淗ere鈥檚 a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works at 3-4 startups at the same time. He鈥檚 been preying on YC companies and more. Beware. I fired this guy in his first week and told him to stop lying/scamming people. He hasn鈥檛 stopped a year later. No more excuses,鈥 he wrote in an X post.
Suhail also shared a picture of Parekh鈥檚 resume, adding that most of the details appear fake and the links also don鈥檛 exist.

While the details left many social media users shocked, it also brought forward companies with similar accusations against Soham Parekh.
Get Lindy founder Flo Crivello reacted to Doshi鈥檚 post and revealed that Parekh was recently fired from his company, further adding that the latter actually did well in the interviews. 鈥淩unning a retrospective with the Lindy that was in this meeting鈥攈indsight is 20/20, but there were red flags in there. I鈥檇 even kicked off the interview by asking, Why can鈥檛 you keep a job?鈥 Crivello continued.
Holy shit. We hired this guy a week ago. Fired this morning. He did so incredibly well in interviews, must have a lot of training. Careful out there. https://t.co/XP33febCYs

Matthew Parkhurst, Antimetal CEO, shared his own experience of hiring Soham Parekh in 2022, only to realise that he was working at multiple companies. 鈥淔unnily enough, Soham was our first engineering hire in 2022. Really smart and likable; enjoyed working with him. We realized pretty quickly that he was working at multiple companies and let him go. I can鈥檛 imagine the amount of equity he鈥檚 left on the table,鈥 he wrote.

Adish Jain, a San Francisco-based businessman, also confirmed Parekh鈥檚 activities and added, 鈥淐an confirm. This guy wasted our time for a month. Did great in interviews. But he鈥檚 a liar.鈥

Besides the aforementioned comments, Doshi鈥檚 post also saw multiple individuals confirming recent contracts with Parekh. One wrote, 鈥淲e just signed him up for our work trial next week. Saw this tweet. Cancelled work trial. Thank you for sharing!鈥 another added, 鈥淥MG, we nearly hired him; the first day was supposed to be this Monday. Glad I did background checks over the weekend!鈥
We hired him (and promptly let him go)
The crazy thing is that we鈥檙e fully in person in SF
He was in our office for 1 day before a series of lies about why he couldn鈥檛 come in as he was for sure working at other companies simultaneously
Absolutely unhinged behavior
