Intrepid Travel has appointed Carrie Grant to head up trade partnerships for the adventure travel company.
Grant replaces Joanna Reeve, who was promoted recently to the role of UK & Ireland General Manager. Carrie joined Intrepid in 2022 as Senior Partnerships Manager UK & Ireland and in that time has successfully grown and developed Intrepid鈥檚 trade business.
Reeve said: 鈥淐arrie鈥檚 impressive business development and sales managerial background and efforts as a champion for diversity within the travel industry have made her a huge asset to the team and I鈥檓 delighted to see her progress to this new role. She has some exciting plans, and with a strong team behind her, I鈥檓 confident she will take our trade business to new heights.鈥
Grant added: 鈥淚鈥檓 absolutely thrilled to be promoted to Head of Industry. I will be leading an incredible team of talented Intrepid people who are committed to making travel a force for good.鈥
In other changes to the leadership team, Natalia Marin Reyes has stepped into the UK Head of Sales role. She replaces Samantha Briggs who has moved to Thailand to take up the position of Thailand General Manager.
Natalia joined Intrepid in 2018 in the tailor-made and co-branded partnerships team and has progressed through various roles to become Senior Partnerships Manager UK & EU in 2023.
Reeve added: 鈥淚 am so proud that we have been able to fill these roles with promotions of two incredible talents within the Intrepid team.
