Allu Arjun is currently one of the most bankable actors. He has films lined up in his kitty, including the newly announced one by Atlee. Well, amid this, a new report is coming in that he has finalised his next film with Prashanth Neel, and it is titled Ravanam. Producer Dil Raju has confirmed the news and revealed that the shoot will start after they have completed their current projects.
Speaking at the event, Dil Raju said, 鈥淚n his words, 鈥淥ur banner has planned a film titled Ravanam with Allu Arjun as the lead and Prashanth Neel as the director. However, the project will take time as both of them are currently busy with their existing commitments.鈥
It is also reported that the project was first offered to Prabhas, and went to Allu Arjun, following the former鈥檚 commitment to other films.
Coming to Allu Arjun鈥檚 upcoming projects, the actor is busy with several high-profile films. He has started shooting for a futuristic sci-fi action thriller, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Helmed by director Atlee, the action entertainer promises cutting-edge visual effects that could be a game-changer for Indian sci-fi cinema. Besides Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone are part of the film.
While in Mumbai, Allu Arjun was seen catching up with Mrunal Thakur, who will reportedly be joining the star in AA22 x A6. According to reports, the makers have already shot the official announcement video to introduce Mrunal as one of the female leads in the sci-fi actioner.
Fans will also see Arjun star in Trivikram Srinivas鈥檚 pan-India socio-mythological fantasy film. Touted to be a mythological drama with a contemporary twist, this film marks another collaboration between the actor and director. He will also reprise his iconic role of Pushpa in the highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 3.
Meanwhile, a fresh wave of speculation recently hit the internet, suggesting that Allu Arjun might step into the iconic role of Shaktimaan in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the beloved 90s superhero series. The rumour triggered excitement among fans, especially after actor Mukesh Khanna 鈥 who originally portrayed the superhero 鈥 praised Allu Arjun鈥檚 charisma and screen presence. However, the makers later clarified that no such casting change is on the cards.
