Damascus, SANA 鈥 Director of Relations at the General Authority for Land and Sea Ports, Mazen Alloush confirmed that the number of Syrian citizens holding Turkish citizenship who returned to Syria through various border crossings over the past 24 hours reached approximately 2,500 citizens, coming from several Turkish provinces.
In a statement to a SANA correspondent, Alloush articulated that the arrivals entered through the Bab al-Hawa, al-Salama, Jarablus, al-Rai, and Kassab crossings, amid precise organization and facilitated procedures.
He noted that all Syrian border crossings receive Syrian dual nationals without imposing any fees on the Syrian side, with the exception of the Kassab crossing, where travelers are required to pay 710 Turkish liras to the Turkish side upon crossing.
Alloush concluded by saying, 鈥淭he General Authority for Land and Sea Ports continues to implement its directives to facilitate the passage of Syrians arriving from Turkey and provide a decent reception environment by equipping crossings and offering all necessary services, including free transportation within border crossings and exempting them from any burdensome fees or transactions, in order to reinforce the principles of dignified return and national belonging.鈥
