The actor’s fierce transformation into a cold-blooded gangster and the gripping teaser have already left everyone stunned. And the release of its highly awaited trailer only added to the hype. The makers dropped the video on July 1, and the entertainment industry couldn’t stop themselves from praising it.

The actor shared the trailer of the film on his Instagram story and spoke highly about it. Calling the trailer powerful, the actor wrote, “Rooted, haunting and quietly powerful. Trailer mein dum hai. Before this, Arjun Kapoor took to social media to praise Rajkummar Rao’s intense avatar as a gun-wielding figure in the gripping poster for Maalik. Impressed by his bold new look, the Singham Again actor wrote, “Excited to see this madness on the big screen… Bring it on!”
Directed by Pulkit, the action-packed thriller film is a hard-hitting tale of ambition, power and survival that explores the price of rising in the dark underworld ruled by guns, greed and loyalty. It is produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani under the banners of Tips Films and Northern Lights Films. The film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Sachdeva, Manushi Chhillar, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Medha Shankr in pivotal roles. Maalik is all set to thrill and send chills down your spine on July 11.
Coming to Arjun Kapoor’s work front, the actor was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The romantic comedy, helmed by Mudassar Aziz, starred him alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Released earlier this year, the film failed to impress viewers.
Up next, the actor is roped in for the highly anticipated sequel No Entry 2. Anees Bazmee’s film also features Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. Backed by Boney Kapoor, the film is slated to release during the Diwali weekend, October 26.
