Ryanair's slashed £20 off flights to 2 holiday spots - but you need to act fast

If you’re seeking an affordable last-minute escape this summer, Ryanair might just have the perfect option. The budget airline has now slashed ticket prices to two European destinations in a new flash sale. This deal, available for just 48 hours, cuts £20/€20 from return journeys between August 16 and September 15. Trips to the popular beach city of Alicante, Spain, are encompassed in this, with flights available ‘from £75.57’. Tickets to Cork, Ireland, are the second discounted Ryanair option, with plane seats available from £37.74. Crucially, the offers are exclusively available to Ryanair Prime members who signed up before July 1, 2025. These discounts come as part of Ryanair’s fourth monthly seat sale since launching its £79/€79 subscriber discount scheme in March. According to the airline, the last four monthly seat sales alone saved Prime members £170/€170 – more than double the Prime membership cost. In a statement, Ryanair CMO Dara Brady said: ” We’re pleased to release our next exclusive Prime Member seat sale, which goes live on Tues, 1 July for 48 hours only. This month we’re giving Prime members €20 off return flights for travel between Sat 16 August to Mon 15 September – the perfect opportunity to book a late summer getaway.” Even if you aren’t a current Ryanair Prime member, the airline said you can still sign up to enjoy future savings and benefits. Besides exclusive sales, the subscription allows you to reserve seats for free and provides annual travel insurance coverage every time you fly. However, it’s crucial to note that Ryanair Prime is limited to 250,000 Members on a first-come, first-served basis. Only residents of the following countries, aged 18 and above, are currently eligible: Due to potential limitations regarding travel insurance, Ryanair also notes that passengers residing in the following countries will not be able to sign up: To sign up for Ryanair Prime, you must have a Ryanair account, as it is an essential requirement for all customers to make bookings on Ryanair.com. Each passenger’s Ryanair account will be updated to display their Ryanair Prime Member status. Ryanair Prime Members and Companions cannot combine discounted fares with other Ryanair sales and promotions. Head to Ryanair’s website for more specific information on its terms and conditions. Beyond Ryanair, it’s crucial to note that alternative last-minute holiday bargains are also available with other airlines. Right now, easyJet is listing flight deals to Amsterdam from £20.99, Paris from £14.99, and Barcelona from £18.99, among other destinations. Meanwhile, British Airways is offering one-way plane tickets from £63 to Rome, £46 to Barcelona and £70 to Amsterdam.
