Apostle Amoako Attah Hails National Day of Prayer, Declares July 1 a Prophetic Turning Point for Ghana

Renowned spiritual leader, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, has described Ghana鈥檚 maiden National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving as a 鈥減rophetic fulfilment鈥 of biblical scripture, urging citizens to embrace its national significance beyond partisan politics.

Speaking in a televised interview on Angel TV, the General Overseer of Parliament Chapel International praised President John Dramani Mahama for initiating the event, saying it aligns deeply with the Bible鈥檚 call for national spiritual reflection and renewal.

鈥淚 am a Christian, a Ghanaian, and I am proud to be both,鈥 Apostle Amoako declared. 鈥淚 like the President because he connects leadership to scripture. RESET 2026 is not just political鈥攊t鈥檚 prophetic.鈥

Referring to the timing of the prayer event, he cited Numbers 29:1-2, which calls for sacred assembly and trumpet sounding on the first day of the seventh month鈥攁 biblical parallel to July 1, Ghana鈥檚 Republic Day.

鈥淲hat is written in the Bible is manifesting before our eyes. The prophecy has now become prophetic,鈥 he said, emphasizing that Ghana鈥檚 decision to dedicate the day to national prayer was a divine alignment with scripture.

Apostle Amoako called for the blowing of seven trumpets to 鈥渟eal the prayers鈥 offered during the day, suggesting it would activate spiritual protection and divine favour for the country.

He urged Ghanaians to set aside political affiliations when dealing with national matters, saying:

鈥淧arty politics is making a lot of people suffer. When something becomes national, we must treat it as Ghanaians鈥攏ot NDC or NPP.鈥

The Apostle proposed that President Mahama follow the biblical instruction to offer burnt sacrifices, quoting directly from Numbers 29:2 and Numbers 23, where seven altars were built and sacrifices made as an offering pleasing to the Lord.

鈥淔rom now till Sunday, the President should take GHS 7,000 times seven and send it to seven churches and seven mosques across the country as a spiritual sacrifice. This act will secure national victory,鈥 he suggested.

He added that what Ghana had initiated on July 1 would lay the foundation for spiritual and national breakthroughs by the nation鈥檚 70th anniversary of independence.

Apostle Amoako also prophesied global unrest and the possibility of war declarations in other nations in the coming days. However, he maintained that Ghana鈥檚 reliance on divine instruction would shield it from harm.

鈥淭his July is monumental. Many nations will go through pain. But when we activate what is written in the Bible, we shall stand,鈥 he affirmed.

He concluded with a message of hope, declaring victory for workers, leaders, and all Ghanaians who embrace unity and divine guidance:

鈥淵ou have turned the hottest season into the coolest ever in my life鈥攚hy won鈥檛 we praise Him?鈥

The National Day of Prayer, which coincides with Republic Day, brought together citizens, clergy, and public officials for spiritual intercession and national unity.
