London travel news live: Trespasser on the track at Euston Square disrupts multiple TfL lines

Commuters may face delays on their way to work on Wednesday morning, with disruption on multiple TfL and National Rail lines.

A trespasser on the track at Euston Square has caused the entire Circle line to be suspended. The Hammersmith & City line and Metropolitan line are also part-suspended, while there are unrelated minor delays on the Mildmay and Bakerloo line.

The National Rail network is also experiencing disruption. Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services are disrupted due to a speed restriction over defective track between Brighton and London Victoria. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Southeastern trains running through Herne Hill are also experiencing disruption, with cancellations, revisions and delays of up to 20 minutes to be expected.

Meanwhile, passengers travelling via the Avanti West Coast service between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly may also face delays, due to damage to the overhead electrical wires.
