Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday (July 1) he expects to travel to the United States next week for meetings with President Donald Trump, after a “great victory” in a 12-day war with Iran last month. Netanyahu told his cabinet meeting in Jerusalem that the visit will also include talks with other top officials, such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
