The buzz around Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, is picking up pace. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the two-part mythological film is among the most awaited Bollywood projects. Now, fans can finally look forward to a sneak peek as the makers will reveal the first official glimpse on July 3 across nine major Indian cities. Ramayana 1st Glimpse To Be Unveiled This Thursday As per the latest updates, the glimpse titled Ramayana: The Introduction will premiere at a multiplex in Mumbai and simultaneously screen in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune and Kochi. It”s unclear if any of the film”s cast will attend, but anticipation is high. The promo has already been certified “U” by the CBFC. Ranbir Kapoor has officially wrapped shooting for Ramayana Part One, in which he plays Lord Ram. On Monday night, videos from the film”s wrap party surfaced online, showing him celebrating with the team. One clip shows Ranbir hugging Ravi Dubey, who plays Lakshman, as they cut a celebratory cake. Director Nitesh Tiwari also addressed the team with an emotional speech. His travel plans suggest he may miss the big July 3 preview event. The film also stars Yash as Ravana. The actor, who is co-producing the film with Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios, is currently on a family holiday in the U.S. and is also not expected to attend the teaser launch. Release Date And Cast Details Of Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Ramayana aims to bring Indian mythology to the big screen with grand visuals and modern storytelling. The first poster, revealed in November 2024, featured a glowing golden arrow and confirmed a Diwali 2026 release for Part One. The second part will arrive in Diwali 2027. Besides Ranbir and Sai Pallavi as Sita, the cast includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Kunal Kapoor as Indra, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Arun Govil as Dashrath, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.
