Multibagger Small-Cap Stock Under Rs 50 Hits 15th Straight Upper Circuit on $9.36 Mn Surveillance Project Win

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, a small-cap IT and defence-tech player, saw its share price locked at the 2 per cent upper circuit of 鈧32.78 apiece on the BSE for the fifteenth consecutive trading session on Monday, 1 July 2025, after announcing a significant international contract win. The rally follows the company鈥檚 declaration that it had secured a $9.36 million Coastal Surveillance Project via a United States-based client, further extending its global footprint in the defence and maritime security sector. According to a 30 June regulatory filing, the 18-month project will involve designing and deploying an integrated coastal monitoring system across the South American coastline. The system includes high-definition CCTV cameras, autonomous drones, patrol trawlers, and a centralised command and control centre. It also incorporates real-time data integration, AI-based threat detection, cloud-enabled incident management and surveillance analytics. Blue Cloud stated that this win is 鈥渁 pivotal step in strengthening its position in the global security and surveillance market.鈥 Shares of Blue Cloud Softech have been rallying relentlessly鈥攈itting the upper circuit in 30 out of the last 33 sessions. While the stock has surged 48 per cent over the past month and 92 per cent over the last three months, it still remains 33 per cent down year-to-date and has declined 71 per cent over the past year. However, it retains its multibagger tag with a remarkable 446 per cent return over the past five years, underscoring long-term investor faith despite short-term volatility. Separately, the company has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 10 July 2025 via video conference to seek shareholder approval for its proposed acquisition of AIS Anywhere, a global technology firm. Market watchers view this as part of Blue Cloud鈥檚 larger strategic pivot towards enterprise-grade AI, cloud, and surveillance solutions. The recent uptrend in Blue Cloud鈥檚 stock price reflects a broader investor optimism around Indian defence and IT firms expanding their global presence through niche tech offerings. However, analysts caution that despite the impressive five-year return, the stock鈥檚 erratic YTD performance and historical volatility necessitate a measured approach.
