MG Cyberster Reaches Dealerships Before July Launch | Watch

JSW MG Motor is gearing up to launch the stunning MG Cyberster in India as the first model under its new MG Select programme.
This initiative focuses on bringing fully-imported, high-end CBU (Completely Built Unit) models to Indian shores.
The Cyberster, an all-electric roadster, made its global debut in 2023 and was first showcased in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year.
Launch Timeline and Bookings
Although an early 2025 launch was expected, MG has fast-tracked its plans. The Cyberster is now set to hit Indian roads in the first week of July 2025. Pre-bookings are already open for a token amount of Rs 51,000 via MG Select dealerships or the official MG website.
Ahead of deliveries, MG has started sending the Cyberster to select showrooms across India. A video on the YouTube channel Automobile With Bruce showed a bright red Cyberster arriving at a dealership on a trailer, attracting plenty of attention.

The Cyberster鈥檚 design takes inspiration from the iconic MG B Roadster of the 1960s, combining retro styling with futuristic elements and advanced technology.
Performance
While MG has not officially shared the India-specific technical details, the Cyberster is likely to match the UK version. In the UK, it comes in two variants鈥擳rophy and GT.

Single-Motor Trophy Variant
This version uses a 64 kWh battery and a rear-mounted motor producing 340 bhp and 475 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 193 kmph. The WLTP-rated range is an impressive 507 km.
Dual-Motor GT Variant
The more powerful GT gets a 77 kWh battery and two motors delivering 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It offers all-wheel drive and a range of 443 km.

The Cyberster marks MG鈥檚 bold entry into the high-performance EV space in India, promising thrilling performance blended with timeless design.
