Seven Martyred, Others Wounded in Israeli Shelling of Northern and Southern Gaza Strip

Gaza, June 29 (QNA) – Seven Palestinians were martyred and others injured Sunday as a result of renewed Israeli shelling of the northern and southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that five Palestinians, including two women and a child, were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in Al Mawasi, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The same sources added that two children were martyred and several other Palestinians were injured after the occupation forces bombed a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood in northern Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued to destroy residential buildings in the center of Khan Yunis, while artillery shelling continued on the city of Rafah.

The comprehensive Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has resulted in the martyrdom of 56,412 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, and the injury of 133,054 others, according to a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams amid an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. (QNA)
