Thoothukudi Government Medical College and Hospital (TKGMCH) is set to host a six-day medical exhibition on the campus to mark the silver jubilee of the institution.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of health, diseases, medical innovations and the vital role of healthcare professionals in society. It will feature interactive models explaining human anatomy and physiology, live demonstrations on first aid, CPR and basic life support as well as an awareness campaign on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle diseases.
Various departments, including dermatology, paediatrics, surgery and community medicine, will set up informative stalls. The event will also showcase student-led projects focused on medical advancements and preventive health along with offering career guidance for all courses offered at the college.
The exhibition will be open to school students from June 30 to July 3 and to college students, general public and health care enthusiasts from July 4 to July 7.
