RCB Star Accused Of Sexual Harassment, FIR Filed As Case Reaches UP CM's Office

Yash Dayal, who plays for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has been accused of mental and physical assault by a woman in Uttar Pradesh.
An FIR was registered against Dayal, and an official complaint has also reached UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The woman has posted on social media about her harrowing experience and has uploaded images of her FIR along with a photo of her with Yash Dayal.
The woman said she was 鈥渋n a relationship with a cricketer for the past 5 years. That person emotionally, mentally, and physically exploited (the complainant) under the guise of marriage.鈥
She complained that she 鈥渨as introduced to their family and treated like a daughter-in-law, leading to complete trust.鈥
In the FIR, she alleged she 鈥渇elt deceived and protested, there was physical violence and mental harassment.鈥
She adds that, 鈥渄uring the relationship,鈥 she 鈥渂ecame completely dependent鈥 on Yash Dayal 鈥渇inancially and emotionally鈥.
According to her complaints that Yash Dayal 鈥渨as involved in similar false relationships with other girls as well鈥.
She alleged that on June 14, 2025, she 鈥渃alled the women鈥檚 helpline 181, but the process did not move forward at the police station鈥.
She say she 鈥渋s financially and socially helpless, and therefore is seeking justice directly from the Chief Minister鈥檚 office.鈥
The woman, in her complaint, has said she has 鈥渆vidence such as chats, screenshots, video calls, photos, etc.鈥
She requested 鈥渁 fair and swift investigation of this matter鈥 and 鈥渓egal action be taken against鈥 Yash Dayal.
She said that this action is necessary not only for her but also for all those girls who are victims of such false relationships.

UP CM Cracks Whip

As per a report in India Today, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister鈥檚 office has requested a report from the Circle Officer (CO) of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, with the police given until July 21 to resolve the complaint filed on IGRS. The girl had also reported the issue to the women鈥檚 helpline on June 14, 2025.
