Srinivas University, Mangaluru, has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The recognition underscores the university’s dedication to maintaining high standards in teaching, research, infrastructure, and student-centric initiatives, said a release.
NAAC, an autonomous institution established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, evaluates higher educational institutions across the country based on parameters such as curriculum, teaching-learning processes, research, innovation, infrastructure, governance, and student support.
Achieving an ‘A’ grade is a reflection of consistent efforts in upholding academic integrity, administrative transparency and holistic development, the university said. With a legacy of 37 years, Srinivas University has emerged as one of the premier private universities in South India. The University offers a wide array of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and professional programs across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Commerce, Social Science, Aviation, Allied Health Sciences, Computer Applications, and more.
University Chancellor A. Raghavendra Rao said the recognition is a milestone in its academic journey. It is the outcome of the collective efforts of visionary leadership, committed faculty, dynamic administrative staff, and ever-enthusiastic student community.
The university said the NAAC accreditation is expected to open up new avenues for international collaborations, research grants and greater institutional visibility on national and global platforms. It also enhances the employability of students, assuring potential employers of the university’s high academic and professional standards.
