A business in Cardiff has revealed that Noah Kahan made a special gesture to them ahead of his big outdoor gig in the Welsh capital. The Stick Season singer performed at Blackweir Fields on Friday evening, June 27, as part of Blackweir Live’s series of gigs that will be taking place in June and July. On Instagram, the singer posed for a photo backstage alongside a barber from the Bonnie & Clyde branch of Barber Group Cardiff . On their social media page, Barber Group Cardiff revealed that they had given the star a trim before his big performance and that the singer signed a guitar for them. They further added: “Big shout out to signing our guitar!” The American performer wowed thousands of music fans at the venue, with the star himself clearly moved by their reaction. During the performance, he said on several occasions that it was “amazing to be here” and promised the Welsh capital that he would “definitely be back again soon”. The star performed fan favourites such as ‘Homesick’, ‘False Confidence’, ‘You’re Gonna Go Far’ and ‘Northern Attitude’, with the latter of which dedicated to a member of the audience that said they came from Boston. Noah Kahan is the first of a handful of worldwide stars that are performing on the Blackweir Live stage. Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette will be performing on Wednesday, July 2, while American thrash metal band Slayer will take centre stage the following day on Thursday, July 3.
