A MAN HAS died after being struck by a car on Balbutcher Lane, Ballymun, Dublin 11 in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic incident involving a car and pedestrian just before 5am this morning.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Technical examinations are currently underway and the road remains closed at this time, with local diversions in place. Garda铆 are asking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Balbutcher Lane and Balcurris Park areas of Ballymun, between 4am and 5am this morning, and have camera footage are asked to make this available to investigating Garda铆.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station at (01) 6664400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
