Air Force Seeks NCAT Support On Speedy Training Of Personnel In Pilot Licensing

LAGOS – The Nigeria Airforce is seeking the support of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria in the expeditious training of its pilots to also obtain Commercial Pilot License (CPL), which would enable them to also operate military civil aircraft.

The force sought this support on Friday in Zaria during its working visit to Dr. Sanjuma Ismaila, the Rector of NCAT.

A statement by Dr. Jude Amadi, the Director, Public Relations, NCAT, said that the air force delegation was led by Air Vice Marshal Olayinka Oyesola, the Commander, Presidential Air Fleet.

Oyesola during the visit, lauded NCAT for the smooth and mutually beneficial relationship established over the years, but said training of its pilots in CPL would further strengthen the partnership.

In his response, Ismaila, reassured the visiting team of NCAT’s commitment to providing the aviation industry with the needed human capacity, expertise and professionalism across the civil and military aviation sectors.

Besides, urged more military pilots to consider post retirement training opportunities available in obtaining commercial pilot license and civil aviation management skills.

He pointed out that NCAT ranked among the global best competitive training institutions and appealed to the Nigeria Airforce to take the due advantage of this positioning.
