Shefali Jariwala, known as the face of the popular Kaanta Laga music video, passed away on Friday, shocking fans and industry colleagues. Shefali achieved much prominence in the early 2000s and went on to appear in a number of movies and reality shows. Her stint in Bigg Boss 13 was quite noteworthy, as she was considered to be one of the strongest contestants. Shefali Jariwala entered as a wildcard contestant into the Bigg Boss house and has major conflicts with many participants.
Even before she was formally inside the house, Shefali had a tiff with another wild card entrant Tehseen Poonawala. A specific rating task was introduced, in which contenders had to rank each other on a scale of 1 to 9. The wildcard contestants were keeping track of their true fate and rating without their knowledge. Shefali and Tehseen were seen having an ugly quarrel because they disagreed with one another鈥檚 decisions. While Shefali referred to Rashami as 鈥渄ual-faced,鈥 Tehseen believed she was simply playing a game. This led to a heated debate as they did not agree with each other.
Later, during a luxury budget task, Shehnaaz Gill and Shefali Zariwala had a heated argument in which Shehnaaz believed Shefali smacked her. The latter refused. Rashami Desai also sustained an injury during the task.
In one of the captaincy tasks, Hindustani Bhau, Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Shukla and Himanshi Khurana were given a job by Bigg Boss to hold a wooden frame while competing for captaincy. The one who left the frame would be eliminated from the race. Shefali Jariwala was in charge of the task. Sidharth and Himanshi held the plank while Sidharth attempted to get Himanshi to leave it. Sidharth removed the frame from Himanshi鈥檚 grasp, prompting Himanshi鈥檚 supporters to label him a cheater.
Shefali informed Bigg Boss that she did not observe Himanshi leave the wooden frame, despite being present at the time. Shefali plainly sought to save Himanshi, and her harsh judgement drew criticism from many. When Bigg Boss requested Shefali to announce the new captain鈥檚 name, she chose Himanshi鈥檚 name, igniting a fight in the house.
Lastly, Shefali and Asim鈥檚 fights were quite popular during the season. The duo started their Bigg Boss trip on a nice note, but things quickly worsened between the two, and they had not been on good terms since. During their disputes, they labelled each other and were often seen disagreeing.
