A West Indies cricketer has been accused of sexually assaulting a young woman.
According to a report on Guyana’s Kaieteur News website, the player is alleged to have sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in March 2023 after the pair went on a date.
The report says there may be other women involved.
The woman allegedly made a complaint to police immediately and has engaged legal assistance. No charges have been laid.
